What I have is the FitBit Zip. It has a clip that can be fastened anywhere to your clothes. It is small so it can even be carried in your pocket. I clip mine to my bra strap. The more expensive model is the Flex. It comes with a wristband. There is also one for $’130 called a Force. I’m not sure how it differs. You can look at them at http://www.fitbit.com.
I got in 45 minutes of walking today. That is the most so far. I know what you mean about being tired!
After giving it some thought, I think that my biggest trigger is boredom. When there isn’t anything else to do I want to eat something. If I just get busy I find that I no longer have that craving. The trick seems to be making myself get busy instead of eating.
As a side note here is a true story that makes me chuckle every time that I think about it. I have always taken boredom very seriously, and my answer to it is work. I can honestly say that my children never sat around and said, “I’m bored.” What I didn’t know until they were adults and they were sitting around comparing stories is that each of them (at different times) had warned friends that they brought home with them, “Whatever you do, don’t tell Mom that you are bored.”

Maxi.
My husband thinks that he hates cauliflower. He loves corn patties so I added a can of whole kernel corn (well drained) to this recipe. He loved it even after I told him that it was cauliflower.
I’ve only recently heard of it, and I want to try it. Where did you find it?
This is surprisingly good, easy to make, and about half the calories of other cakes. When I made it I didn’t get the cream cheese thin enough and it didn’t swirl as nicely as I wanted it to. It needs to be about the consistency of thick pancake batter. Next time I think that I will try adding some ginger and cloves just for a change.
I can attest to that. Last night at the meeting I got a very encouraging note and card from Bert. You would be surprised (or not) at how much a little encouragement helped.
lol. Here are Jana’s dogs (my granddogs): Athena and Nano.
